The Old Shed Distillery (“we”, “us” — The Old Honey Shed Pty Ltd (ABN 50 647 617 703), trading as The Old Shed Distillery) operates this website and the cellar door at 2419 Bells Line of Road, Bilpin NSW 2758. We collect only the personal information we need to sell you spirits, answer your enquiries and run the distillery — nothing more.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and confirmation that you are 18 or over. When you use the contact form: your name, email and/or phone number and your message. We do not buy, sell or trade personal information.

Payments

Card payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Stripe or PayPal). Your card details go directly to them over an encrypted connection and are never stored on our website or seen by us.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies: one to remember that you have confirmed your age (so you are not asked on every visit), one to keep your shopping cart together, and standard cookies set by our payment providers at checkout. We do not run advertising cookies.

Where your information lives

The website is hosted in Australia (Sydney). Order details are kept in our store system so we can fulfil your order, handle any warranty issue and meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed producer.

Who we share it with

Only the people needed to get a bottle to your door: our delivery carriers (name, address, phone for delivery), our payment providers (to process payment), and government agencies if the law requires it. Nobody else.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (where the law lets us). Email theoldsheddistillery@gmail.com and we will sort it out. If you are not happy with our response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
